Guardian Angels a more common than you might think. True, not everyone has one; but most people do. Guardian Angeldevils, on the other hand, are extremely rare. In fact, only one person in the whole world has one, and his name is Matsuné Akoro.

This was just a bit of fun I had wanting to get an image out of my brain. It was inspired by this [link] , which I thought was so cool I immidiately wanted to do my own warped shadow picture. Thus I hit upon the idea of Matsuné; cute, unintimidating Matsuné, with Shakuro's all too badass shadow.

If Guardian Angels watch us from above, then the Guardian Angeldevil watches you from your shadow.

I used a myriad of techniques here. Matsuné was drawn and inked by hand on paper, then scanned. Shakuro's shadow was similarly drawn on a second piece of paper — straight, mind you, no warping — and scanned. Then I added the black tones in photoshop and put the two together. Using various digital torture implements I stretched and mooshed Shakuro's shadow into the proper shape — and walla!
