Merman with Octopusby *Agent-Elrond

Or, you could say this is the MMMmmmmmm-merman with Octopus. I had a lot of fun digging up reference for these guys. The merman I wanted to look like a fusion of dolphin and lionfish; I had to do a handful of little sketches just to figure out how his anatomy worked just to get his pose right here. The octopus was just fun though. The merman's face is based off a real person, but he's so disguised you probably won't recognize him, but his name rhymes with "rinsin' hackles." Good luck, and don't spoil it for people.

This is beautiful. Really like the Lionfish/dolphin combination, and the background is great too. I like how you made it appear like the corals in the back look like they're glowing.
