Artist's CommentsA little tribute to Shakuro, the hero of my webcomic Angeldevil. Gawd. This was the painting that did not want to be made! So first I went through about a dozen sketches over the course of about a week… which is something that seldom happens to me and it drove me crazy not being about to come up with the perfect pose. Then, when I have got the drawing sketches, I got side-tracked by other projects and ended up doing the background weeks later, and then shoving it into a pile of doodles until yesterday when I finally knuckled down and finished it. Not that I dislike this piece. I'm actually quite pleased with how it came out. It was just all the artistic stars aligned against it or something. :/ Anyhoos. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Thanks. I'm not certain I'd be much of a great teacher: I'm more of a "Aw, try it and see how it comes out!" sort of person. XD But if you ever want any feedback on paintings or such, just link them to me. That's one thing I can do from Across the Internet.
